Made in America 2015
This weekend I went to Made in America to celebrate my best friend's birthday and we had the time of our lives! It was the perfect way to close out the summer.
I saw Beyoncé for the first time live and I TOTALLY understand the obsession now - I'm the latest member of the #BeyHive. Everything was so on point... the choreography, musical transitions, cinematorgraphy and outfits were A1. She was well worth my 12-hour stay/delay in the Chicago airport.

Even though I got in town late Friday I was still able to experience the full Day 2 which was had an amazing line up... Santigold, Future, Big Sean, J. Cole and The Weekend just to name a few. Future delivered a promising performance with some highlights from his latest album 'DS2' and even promised another album before the new year! Big Sean was full of energy and gave an uplifting speech after a thoughtful performance of "One Man Can Change the World."
This was my third time seeing J. Cole live and he was better than ever. His performances are always so raw, honest and intimate. I pride myself on being a Day 1 fan so it was really awesome to see him living out his dreams and representing The Ville on an international level.

We also ran into the Ty Hunter (Beyoncé's stylist) who was super sweet!
Philadelphia had a lot to offer and unfortunately I didn't get to really sight-see but the local Chinese food and beautiful university campuses were very promising. I'm looking forward to returning soon to explore some more!
There was a lot of festival style and summer looks around the city. I opted for an American Apparel tube dress, Zara plaid short, BCBG necklace and my go-to converse.
Thanks again Philly for the memories and I'm looking forward to MIA 2016!
